If you aren't changing your relevancy will be reduced to zero. The joy I find behind the lens affirms this belief in me for every time I make a picture I see all the possibilities Life provides us.

Hi my name is Mari (ma-ree) and I'm a Landscape photographer. My work is about Stillness. It's about slowing down almost to a frozen state to soak in all the details. It's about almost being able to feel the textures of the subject matter.

I picked up my first camera at around eight years old. The famous Kodak 110 where you snapped and slid the lever in order to move the film to next frame. The anticipation of seeing what I captured develope and whether or not it translated to what I saw was very exciting to me and I continue to feel the same now.

Photography healed me then and heals me now. 
Storytelling through visual art. The image only tells you what the photographer wants you to see.

My hope is that my images evoke smiles, peace, and plenty of conversations
