Hi, I’m Mari (ma-ree) — the photographer and creative behind

Visions by Mari.

My love affair with photography began around eight years old with a Kodak 110. I still remember the excitement of capturing something, waiting for the film to be developed, and wondering whether the image would look the way I saw it.

That feeling never left me.

Today, my photography is rooted in stillness, connection, and healing through art. I’m drawn to the details we often rush past—the texture of a flower, an unexpected visitor in nature, a sweeping landscape, or a moment of light that asks you to stop and simply look.

Photography healed me then, and it heals me now.

Through Visions, I hope my images give you permission to slow down, feel something, smile, reflect, and maybe even see the familiar from a different perspective.
